Lots of twists and turns and surprises and plenty of suspense!!! Add a lot of romance to that and you’ve got yourself a great book!!! Lies and betrayal are uncovered and it really is quite heartbreaking especially for Mishca. I was so upset I couldn’t help but wonder why London why???
Lauren continues to grow in this book and became quite capable of being a pakhan’s wife. She actually becomes quite a bad*** and does what she has to do in order to protect and preserve her and Mishca’s relationship. She’s quite amazing!!! Her and Mishca go through a lot in this book but despite it all they prevail!!! Love never fails after all right???
I love that we get to see more of Klaus and learn a bit about him. I love the bickering that him and Mishca are constantly doing and it’s nice to see the dynamics in their relationship change. And surprisingly enough Klaus isn’t as heartless as he comes across. I’m ready for his story. A tough one it will be but fantastical I’m sure!!!
I also love that we get to see more of Luca in this book and well he is typical Luka. But he’s fabulous!!! We see a hint of what lies beneath all the joking and lightheartedness and I’m sure there is quite a story there. One of his secrets come out and honestly I was baffled. I am quite worried about how Mischa is going to take it. But I also know there is far more to it. There just has to be. I’m ready to find out — I think — and about what is behind his façade .
This whole series has been beyond spectacular!!! Lauren and Mishca are an amazing couple and share an incredible bond!!! Yes it may be unconventional but in my personal opinion none of it matters. After all the definition of love says nothing about how it is supposed to happen and to who. No boundaries. If you are thinking about reading this series read it!!! It’s worth it!!!

I just would have like little more after the end . Maybe a insight a couple of years after the end . But that's me , loved the series well worth it .Love the all the thing that Mischa would do for Lauren to keep her safe , even if he had to do something that was not allowed by the bravta'a rule . He finally stood up to his father . Lauren was so understanding when it came to Mischa and stood by his side ,even when people pictured a different side of Mischa that she get to see .
I read the second book and thought it was Ok but this one is the best yet. This is the first series I have read by the author and like her writing. This one consists of humor and suspense to last a lifetime. I truly love Luka and still laughing my butt off at his actions. When reading this book, you can feel the love between Mishca and Lauren. Keep up the good work Ms Miller. I look forward to reading the next one.
So much intensity and drama! Love this final story! Some unexpected twists and turns! Hate the loss of a main character I loved, but began to suspect in the second book! Heartbreak, love, suspense and joy, the author gives us a great ending! Will hope to see more of these characters in the next series! Still needs better editing, but it doesn't detract from the storyline!
The final hour for me, ended up being 547 AM when I finished this book.
I couldn't put it down. The beginning and the end were mild, in comparison with the rest of the book . While the start had a slow take off, and the ending a soft landing, the main course was addicted, funny, inquisitive, and better yet, hot. I was so pleased within the time I was immersed in this story, nothing like to be surrounded, feeling so protected, caring and love by men like Mishca, Klaus, and Luca. YUM-YuM!
They have to be more of them to come. They are so perfect to just let them go.
I loved this series, and definitely reading whatever comes next from this author.

The conclusion to Mishca & Lauren’s story was quite the ride! I have loved them from the beginning and really hope that this isn’t their last book. I’m sure we’ll see them in the other characters’ books since they are central characters.
For a time, all is well in the Volkov Bratva and time passes relatively quietly for Lauren & Mishca. They are moving forward in their relationship and their lives. Not everyone is happy for them in their love, but for the most part, those people don’t cause waves, only voicing their opinion. But when you’re in love like Mish & Lauren, opinions don’t matter.
But when the past starts to come back to haunt them and Mishca is targeted, Lauren has to step into the role of protector and avenger to head off any more enemies who may come out of the wood work. And she seeks help from an unlikely source…one who would rather see Mishca dead than work to save his life. But he accepts Lauren’s contract.
The enemies are plenty. At the end of book 2, Until the End, Anya (Mishca’s step-mom & Alex’s mom) was exiled by Mikhail and ended up hooking up with Jetmir, the leader of the Albanian mob who blamed Mishca for his brother’s death & swore revenge.
There is also Klaus, Mishca’s twin brother who actually killed Jetmir’s brother, but also has a score to settle with Mishca. We got to see a lot more of Klaus in this book, and he eventually becomes a character that you like and want to know more about. (His book, Red, will be #4.)
Luka is still his crazy, funny self who dispels tension and adds humor all while annoying his Captain, Mishca. He is lovable, but has a dark past, which has been alluded to, but we won’t learn it all until his book. (Yay! He’s getting a book!)
We get to see Alex, Mishca’s sister and Amber, Lauren’s old roommate in NYC, a small part with Lauren’s group of friends, Susan and Ross, Lauren’s mom & detective boyfriend and then there is Mikhail, Mishca’s dreaded father.
I know it doesn’t seem like I let you know what really happened in this book, but I feel that if I went into depth too much more, then I’d be giving spoilers! Just know that this is a filled to the max novel with confrontations by enemies & Lauren & Mishca prevailing.
I’ve really enjoyed this series and look forward to the next installments!!
